Hi and welcome to bonus lives!

Watched a couple of your videos and you seem to be pretty well spoken, but I do have one tiny constructive criticism for you, and its just a technical one, nothing to do with the actual content. Seems like your mic may be a little too close to your mouth and you're getting a lot of "pops" from your Ps and Bs and quite a bit of breathiness. I know a lot of mics you have to have them right up in your face to have them work best. If you don't want to invest in a "pop guard" I've heard there are some DIY solutions like putting a cloth over your mic. I've had lots of issues getting my audio nice, so I know it can take time. Still don't have it anywhere near perfect on my channel  :P

Gotta agree with you on the Bear Simulator video, it really sucks how the dev handled it. I heard it was Pewdiepie that initially slammed the game and caused backlash towards it from his "fanboys". Really does bring out the worst of kickstarter when things like this happen.

That said, have backed a few kickstarters for games, tv shows, and other random things that didn't have much to show at the start, and overall it's been a good experience. Some have been disappointing flops as well (*cough* Godus *cough*)..... buuuut... really looking forward to the FREE Oculus Rift that will be coming my way for backing the First Dev kit. Sometimes supporting these things pays off. Sometimes it doesn't. You just have to go with your gut.

Welcome to BL! I have to agree with Puddy though. It's worth it to invest in a pop filter. You can find some fairly cheap ones on Amazon and there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube to make your own! ;D
Blew blew blue.

Okay, thanks for the responses and I hope to see more of them later down the line! I will check Amazon for one, thanks once again.

Cool  :D

Are you going to make an update to your Coleco video? I heard Coleco has pulled their name off it and it seems like quite a debacle! Making it see-through let interweb detectives figure out that the hardware inside wasn't a game system, just a shitty video capture card. Turned into a super sad/funny story.

Totally agree with you on the Ouya, I have one and only tried using it like twice. At least it doesn't take up much space  ::)

I felt as if another Chameleon video isn't really needed, because it followed my prediction of it pretty much being the OUYA 2.0 :P, thanks for another response!

Aw dang, I wanted to hear you go off on them! I think it ended up being *worse* than Ouya 2.0, it was a total scam and couldn't even play games.

Anyway, what else do you plan on doing with your channel? Mostly news, or are you going to have some game play too?

A merge of both most likely, I already wrote another script which I am recording today :P

Welcome to Bonus Lives, I hope you enjoy the community here.

As far as criticism goes I watched your videos and like puddy already said, you are eating the mic. It sounds like a pretty decent quality mic so maybe back away from it when talking.
Your content seems to all be "did you know?" styled videos about various topics that in some way have to do with the video game industry. So for you specifically, the most important activity for you do be doing is triple checking your research before recording and releasing a video. Finally, with videos like these, it has to be a topic you actually care about. I've said it before and I'll say it here, if you do not enjoy making a certain video than you cannot expect others to enjoy watching said video. IDK, its just my personal approach.

I think you would enjoy watching channels like Gnoggin and CGP Grey. They have a similar-enough structure to what you have released so far. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, the mic is awful, you can't hear anything unless right next to it (I got it from DJ Hero 2) you never really told me if my videos are of objective quality, and yes, my scripts can take up to an hour to write, I check all my sources too. Thanks for sourcing some channels, I'll be sure to check them out!

you never really told me if my videos are of objective quality,

I'm just one of the billions of people on the internet. In the grand scheme of things you will have people like and hate your videos. Whose to say someone else didn't hack this account called "Skill Flea" and your talking to a completely different person? It's "objective quality" is determined by you and whether or not you actually care about the topics of your videos. Are your videos of objective quality? You tell us and the internet will agree and disagree with you at the same time. Its really up to you.
