I can safely say that Bonus Lives is falling behind Torm's other site, TooSpooky.com. Too Spooky has 99 members now and has been a growing community. I feel like people really are not joining Bonus Lives and that the site isn't being used to its maximum potential. What should we do about it if anything? Leave your thoughts about it.

That it has been for sure, and i don't have any ideas how to make this better, maybe we should give up when we are at winning still? :D

No I don't think we should give up! I just think that we need to be more active on here. We're all mostly guilty of this :(

While I know that's not the ultimate solution but I think it would help. BL needs more, well more publicity. I don't think a small website made for small youtubers will get much traction seeing as both of the things involved are hard to come by. If I weren't subbed to Tormy then I'd have no idea something like this existed.

I think it's more difficult to get people here because "Doing YouTube" is so much more specific than "Doing, Reading, Enjoying, Laughing at, or Knowing About CreepyPasta".

Maybe I should rejigger the forums a bit for more Game Discussion... Hmm.

Yeah I think BL does need to open up to a more broad audience. If audience is even the right word for it.

I agree to the above statement.

Yea, keep youtube as a thing here but making it a little broader would help
I do things at ParmaJon's Pizza Palace and on my own channel. Also sarcasm everywhere.

What would everyone's ideal list of gaming-related boards be?

Keep in mind that they should be something people would use frequently if there were a large group of people here.

So for example, instead if "board games, card games, mafia games" being different boards that don't get used often, it could just be "party games" for all "live" gaming.

My general thought would be:

- Computer Gaming
- Console Gaming
- Live Gaming (or Party Gaming)
- Gaming Hook-Up (find other people to add on Steam, specific games, etc.)

I'm all for re-tooling, but turning into a generic-ish gaming forum seems like it wouldn't have much of a hook. It'd probably just end up a Tormy fan-land (not that that's a bad thing), but it could end up with similar stagnation.

If it's likely to involve folks who enjoy watching Torm/his pals on Youtube, then maybe keeping this Youtube gaming centered may be the way the go. Broaden things to involve not just content creators but watchers as well.

tl;dr: need to be broad to attract but narrow enough to give people a reason to flock here

So it would be like a YouTube Gaming section, possibly throw in an off-topic section because why not, and a Tormental-based section, because again, why not?
